The Bespoke Journey: Step by Step
Step 1: Consultation. Your journey begins with a free, no-obligation consultation at our Manchester showroom on Stockport Road. Bring inspiration images, Pinterest boards, fabric swatches, or simply your ideas. We discuss your wedding timeline, ceremonies, venues, colour preferences and budget. This conversation typically takes 60 to 90 minutes and covers every aspect of your outfit.
Step 2: Design. Based on our consultation, we create a detailed design sketch showing the silhouette, embroidery placement, colour and fabric. You review and refine the design until it matches your vision exactly. We also provide fabric swatches so you can see and feel the materials before committing.
Step 3: Measurements. Our tailors take detailed measurements, going beyond standard sizing to capture your exact proportions. We measure over 20 points including shoulder width, arm circumference, torso length, waist position and preferred garment lengths. This precision is what gives bespoke garments their superior fit.
Step 4: Production. Our artisans begin crafting your outfit. Fabric is cut to your measurements, embroidery is hand-stitched according to your approved design, and the garment takes shape over 6 to 10 weeks. Every piece passes through multiple hands: cutters, embroiderers, tailors and finishers, each bringing their specialist skill to your outfit.
Step 5: Fitting. Midway through production, you attend a fitting at our showroom. This is when we check the structure, drape, length and overall proportions. Adjustments are made based on your feedback, ensuring the final garment is perfect.
Step 6: Delivery. Your completed outfit is professionally pressed, packaged and delivered. Free UK delivery is included. We also offer a pre-wedding steaming service so your outfit is pristine on the day.
