Golden Gharara with Maroon Dupatta

This golden gharara set with maroon dupatta is a celebration of tradition and opulence, crafted from marble tissue and Banarsi fabric at our Manchester studio. Designed for brides and guests who appreciate the art of dressing well, this ensemble carries the richness of hand-embroidered artistry in every panel. Perfect for Nikkah ceremonies, engagement celebrations, and festive evening occasions, it balances regal drama with refined restraint.

The Shirt

Fashioned from luxurious marble tissue, the shirt features a fully embellished front panel with dabka, kora, sequins, moti, and delicate resham threadwork. The neckline carries an intricately embroidered border that frames the face with elegance, while the hem is finished with a detailed ornamental band. Sleeves feature decorative borders with an embroidered bunch at the bicep, enhanced with chan detailing. The back is adorned with scattered booti motifs, a subtle hem border, and a rich maroon Banarsi finishing that adds depth and contrast.

The Gharara

The gharara is composed of two complementary Banarsi fabrics, each chosen for its textural contribution to the overall silhouette:
  • Upper layer: Banarsi fabric with delicate polka dots that catch the light in movement
  • Lower layer: Intricate floral Banarsi motifs with an embroidered border at the knee and delicate lace at the hem
A regal maroon Banarsi trim finishes the piece with a touch of depth.

The Dupatta

The sheer Khaadi net dupatta in deep maroon features a detailed embroidered border on one side for a striking drape, with resham lace and maroon Banarsi trim finishing the remaining three edges. Lightweight and dramatic, it completes the ensemble with grace.
