Jabeenz is an Asian and South Asian bridal and party wear boutique based in Manchester, established in 1975. We are the data controller for any personal information collected through this website.

Enquiry basket
When you submit an enquiry through our website, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and any event dates or details you choose to share. This information is stored locally in your browser until you submit your enquiry.
Orders through WooCommerce
When you place an order, we collect the information needed to fulfil it: your name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number, and payment details. Payment card details are processed securely by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
Waitlist sign-ups
If you join a product waitlist, we collect your email address so we can notify you when the item becomes available.
How we use your information
- Processing enquiries - to respond to your questions about our collections, book consultations, and provide quotes for bespoke pieces
- Fulfilling orders - to process payments, arrange delivery, and keep you updated on your order status
- Waitlist notifications - to let you know when a product you are interested in is back in stock
- Social proof - we may use anonymised order data (city only, never names or personal details) to show recent activity on our website, such as "Someone in Manchester recently ordered"
Our legal basis for processing

- Consent - when you submit an enquiry form or join a waitlist, you are giving us consent to use your information for that specific purpose
- Contract - when you place an order, we need to process your information to fulfil our contract with you
- Legitimate interest - we use anonymised order data (city only, no names) for social proof on our website, which helps other customers feel confident shopping with us
Who we share your data with
We only share your personal information with third parties where it is necessary to provide our services:
- Stripe - our payment processor, who handles card payments securely. Stripe has its own privacy policy and is certified to PCI-DSS Level 1
- WP Mail SMTP - used to deliver transactional emails such as order confirmations and enquiry responses
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any third parties. We never share your data for marketing purposes.
Cookies
Our website uses only essential cookies that are necessary for the site to function properly:
- WordPress session cookies
- WooCommerce cart and session cookies
- CSRF (cross-site request forgery) protection tokens
Analytics and marketing tracking (Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, and TikTok) are managed entirely by QWeb Suite, which provides its own consent banner. You can control your preferences for these through that banner at any time. For more details, please see our Cookie Policy.
How long we keep your data
- Enquiry data - retained for up to 2 years, then securely deleted
- Order data - retained in line with UK legal and accounting requirements (typically 6 years)
- Waitlist sign-ups - retained until the notification has been sent, then removed

- Access - request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Rectification - ask us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete information
- Erasure - ask us to delete your personal information where there is no compelling reason for us to continue processing it
