Our Approach to Returns

Bridal wear is different from everyday clothing, and our bridal returns policy reflects that. Because most of our garments are made to your specific measurements and design choices, traditional returns are not practical. Instead, we have built a thorough pre-dispatch process that means you should never need to return your outfit in the first place.

Before any garment is dispatched, it goes through a multi-stage verification process. We check the measurements against your original order, inspect every seam and embroidery panel, and confirm that the colours and fabrics match what was agreed. If anything is not right, we fix it before dispatch, not after.

How Verification Works

For bespoke orders, we invite you to a final fitting at our showroom before we complete the garment. This is your chance to check the fit, feel the fabric on your body, and request any last adjustments. Most issues are caught and resolved at this stage. For ready-to-wear purchases, we send detailed photos and measurements before dispatch so you can confirm everything looks correct.

If you receive your garment and something is not as expected, contact us within 48 hours. We will assess the issue and offer a solution, which may include alterations at no extra cost, a remake, or in some cases a full refund. Our bridal returns policy is designed to protect you while being fair to the artisans who made your outfit.

Ready-to-Wear Exchanges

For ready-to-wear items purchased from our website or showroom, exchanges are available within 14 days of receipt provided the garment is unworn, unwashed, and in its original packaging with all tags attached. We offer size exchanges or store credit. Please note that sale items and accessories are final sale and cannot be exchanged.

We want every bride to feel confident in her purchase. That is why our bridal returns policy focuses on prevention rather than cure. By catching problems early through fittings, photos, and open communication, we make sure you love your outfit before it is dispatched. If you have concerns at any stage of the process, speak to us and we will make it right.

What is your returns policy?

All sales at Jabeenz are final. Because every piece is either bespoke or carefully curated, we do not accept returns or exchanges. To make sure you are completely satisfied, we have a thorough pre-dispatch verification process. You see detailed photos and can join a WhatsApp video call to view your finished garment before you pay the final balance and before we ship. You always approve before it leaves our hands.

Why does Jabeenz not offer returns?

Our garments are handcrafted, often bespoke, and made specifically to your measurements and design choices. They cannot be resold. Instead of relying on a returns process, we put our energy into making sure you love your outfit before it ships. Through photos, video calls, and your personal approval, we make sure there are no surprises. That is a better promise than any returns policy.

What is the pre-dispatch verification process?

Before every dispatch, we send you high-quality photos of the finished garment and offer a WhatsApp video call so you can see the embroidery, colour, fabric, and overall look in detail. You confirm you are happy before paying the remaining balance and before we ship. This process is our commitment to making sure what you receive is exactly what you approved.

TL;DR

We offer a 14-day returns and exchanges policy on ready-to-wear items in their original condition. We cannot accept returns on bespoke bridal dresses but we can alter them free of charge.

A returns and exchanges policy sets out when customers can return goods for a refund, exchange or store credit. UK consumer protection law governs these rules.

According to the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, UK law gives consumers a 14-day cooling-off period for online buys. Research by the British Retail Consortium shows online fashion returns in the UK average 30%. Bridal wear returns sit much lower at around 5% because wedding dress buys are personal by nature.

Comparison

Fast-fashion shops often offer blanket 30-day return windows. Bridal fashion returns work differently because many garments are made to order. Mass-produced clothing is easy to exchange. Bespoke bridal dresses are made to individual measurements and cannot be resold. Our policy balances consumer protection with the reality of custom tailoring. We offer full returns on ready-to-wear items and free alterations on bespoke orders.
