Bespoke & Custom Design Questions

What does the Jabeenz bespoke service include?

Our bespoke service covers the full journey from your first one-to-one consultation with our designer to delivery at your door. That includes personalised styling advice, fabric and colour selection from the best materials suited to your requirements, original design work shaped around your ideas and dreams, precise measurements, handcrafted embroidery, progress photos throughout production, and a pre-dispatch video call so you approve the finished garment before it ships. With nearly 50 years of experience, we treat every bespoke order with the personal care it deserves.

How long does a bespoke order take?

It depends on the complexity of the piece. Bridal outfits typically take around 10 weeks, party wear around 8 weeks, and simpler pieces a minimum of 4 weeks. We confirm the exact timeline during your one-to-one consultation so you can plan with confidence.

Do you take orders for party wear?

Yes, we absolutely do. Jabeenz creates handmade party wear with light or heavy embroidery work depending on your preferences and the look you want to achieve. Whether you have a clear vision or just an idea, our designer sits down with you one-to-one to understand your dream outfit and bring it to life. We select the best fabrics and embroidery style suited to your occasion, and every piece is crafted with the same care and attention as our bridal work. Party wear orders typically take around 8 weeks depending on the level of detail involved.

How personalised is the Jabeenz design experience?

Every Jabeenz order begins with a one-to-one consultation with our designer. We take the time to listen to your ideas, understand your vision, and respect every detail you share with us. Our aim is to meet your dreams and translate them into a beautifully crafted outfit. With nearly 50 years of hands-on experience, our designer knows how to select the best materials, suggest enhancements that elevate the design, and guide you towards choices that are perfectly suited to your occasion, body shape, and personal style. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is generic. Every piece is as unique as the person wearing it.

Can I bring my own design idea?

Absolutely, and we love it when customers do. Share your inspiration images, sketches, or Pinterest boards with us. Our design team will work closely with you to refine the concept, suggest enhancements drawn from nearly 50 years of experience, and create something truly unique. Every piece we make is an original Jabeenz creation.

Where are Jabeenz garments made?

All our garments are designed right here in Manchester and handcrafted by our skilled artisans in Pakistan. We work only with trusted, long-established production partners and maintain direct oversight of every stage, from fabric sourcing through to embroidery and finishing. Quality control is at the heart of everything we do.

Can I choose my own fabric and colour?

Yes. We offer a wide range of premium fabrics including rich raw silks, organza, chiffon, velvet, net, jamawar, and cotton silk. You can specify exact colours, and we provide colour matching to coordinate with your event theme or family outfits. If you need to see the fabric before deciding, we can send swatches or close-up photos via WhatsApp.

Do you offer fittings during the bespoke process?

For customers who can visit, we offer fittings at our Manchester showroom. For those further away, we work from detailed measurements and send progress photos and video calls throughout production. Either way, we make sure the fit is right before dispatch.

Can I customise an existing design from your collection?

Yes. Any design in our collection can be fully customised. That could mean changing the colour, fabric, embroidery style, neckline, sleeve length, or silhouette. Think of our collection as a starting point that we shape entirely around your preferences.

What if I am not sure what I want?

That is completely normal, and many of our happiest customers started with just a vague idea. Our designer works with you one-to-one, listening to your thoughts and drawing on nearly 50 years of experience to guide you through options, show you the best fabrics and past work, and help your vision take shape step by step. We respect every detail and personalise every choice to suit your requirements. This is what we have been doing since 1975, and we genuinely enjoy the creative process with every customer.

The Dream Dress Studio

Our dream wedding dress design service is for brides who know exactly what they want, and for brides who have no idea yet. Both are welcome. The Dream Dress Studio is a collaborative space where your vision meets our expertise, and together we create something that is entirely and unmistakably yours.

Many brides arrive with a Pinterest board full of ideas but no clear direction. Others come with a single photo and say, “I want this, but different.” Some walk in with nothing at all except a feeling. All of this is fine. Our designers are trained to translate emotions and vague ideas into concrete designs, and they will guide you patiently through every decision.

Describing Your Vision

You do not need to know the technical terms. If you say “something flowy” we know you mean chiffon or georgette. If you say “heavy and grand” we are thinking raw silk with dabka embroidery. If you say “modern but still traditional” we understand the balance you are after. Our job is to listen carefully and ask the right questions until we are both on the same page.

Bring anything that inspires you: photos, fabric swatches, a piece of jewellery you plan to wear, or even a colour from your wedding decor. The more we understand about your overall wedding aesthetic, the better we can design a dream wedding dress that fits into the bigger picture.

The Design Journey

Once we have a clear brief, our design team sketches your outfit and presents it for your approval. We discuss every detail: neckline, sleeve style, hem length, dupatta draping, colour shading, and embroidery placement. Nothing is locked in until you say yes. From there, production begins, and your dream wedding dress design moves from paper to fabric to finished garment, guided by your input at every stage.

TL;DR

The Dream Dress Studio is a free design tool for brides. Describe your ideal Pakistani wedding dress and get a bespoke consultation from our design team.

A dream dress studio is a bridal design service. Brides share their vision, including silhouette, colour, embroidery style and budget. Our design team then guides them to create a unique wedding garment.

According to our booking records, over 85% of brides who use the Dream Dress Studio go on to place a bespoke order. The average custom bridal dress takes 8 to 12 weeks to finish. Data from our design team shows consultations last 60 to 90 minutes and cover more than 200 fabric and embroidery options.

Comparison

Off-the-rack bridal shopping limits you to existing designs. The Dream Dress Studio lets you create a completely original garment. High street bridal shops offer little room to customise. Our bespoke process gives you full control over silhouette, fabric, colour and embroidery. Most bridal shops ask for a deposit before any design work. Our first consultation and design sketch are completely free.
