Key Terms for Shopping With Us

These terms and conditions set out the agreement between you and Jabeenz when you place an order, commission a bespoke garment, or use our website. We have written them in plain English so you can understand exactly what you are agreeing to, without needing a lawyer to translate.

When you place an order with us, you are entering into a contract for the supply of goods. For ready-to-wear items, the contract begins when we confirm your order. For bespoke commissions, the contract begins when we receive your deposit and confirm the design specification in writing.

Bespoke Commissions

Bespoke garments are made to your individual measurements and design choices. Because of this, bespoke orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun. We require a deposit of fifty per cent at the time of order, with the balance due before collection or dispatch. If you need to make changes to your design after production has started, we will do our best to accommodate them, but additional charges may apply.

We aim to complete bespoke orders within the timeline agreed at your consultation. If there is any delay, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a revised delivery date. In the unlikely event that we cannot fulfil your order, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.

Your Consumer Rights

Nothing in these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law. You have the right to receive goods that match their description, are of satisfactory quality, and are fit for purpose. If a garment is faulty or does not match the agreed specification, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

For ready-to-wear purchases made online, you have 14 days from the date of delivery to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Bespoke and personalised items are exempt from this right because they are made to your specification. Full details of our cancellation and returns process are available on our returns page.

Common Questions

What is your returns policy?

All sales at Jabeenz are final. Because every piece is either bespoke or carefully curated, we do not accept returns or exchanges. To make sure you are completely satisfied, we have a thorough pre-dispatch verification process. You see detailed photos and can join a WhatsApp video call to view your finished garment before you pay the final balance and before we ship. You always approve before it leaves our hands.

Why does Jabeenz not offer returns?

Our garments are handcrafted, often bespoke, and made specifically to your measurements and design choices. They cannot be resold. Instead of relying on a returns process, we put our energy into making sure you love your outfit before it ships. Through photos, video calls, and your personal approval, we make sure there are no surprises. That is a better promise than any returns policy.

What is the pre-dispatch verification process?

Before every dispatch, we send you high-quality photos of the finished garment and offer a WhatsApp video call so you can see the embroidery, colour, fabric, and overall look in detail. You confirm you are happy before paying the remaining balance and before we ship. This process is our commitment to making sure what you receive is exactly what you approved.

TL;DR

These terms cover all purchases from Jabeenz, including online orders and bespoke commissions. By placing an order you agree to these conditions under UK consumer law.

Terms and conditions are the binding rules between a business and its customers. They cover ordering, payment, delivery, returns and liability.

Our terms cover 4 purchase types: ready-to-wear online orders, in-store buys, bespoke commissions and alteration services. UK law gives online customers a 14-day cooling-off period. Bespoke orders are exempt because they are made to individual specs.

Comparison

Online marketplaces can be vague about terms for custom goods. Our terms clearly separate ready-to-wear purchases from bespoke commissions. Some retailers apply the same policy to all products. We give specific terms for custom bridal orders to reflect the unique nature of made-to-measure garments.
