Our Story
Jabeenz opened its doors on Stockport Road in 1975, making it one of the first Asian bridal boutiques in Manchester. At a time when South Asian brides in the north of England had very few options for quality wedding garments, our founder set out to change that. He brought together skilled artisans, premium fabrics, and a deep respect for traditional craftsmanship to create a space where brides could find outfits that truly reflected their heritage.
Over five decades, the business has passed through family hands, but the core values have never changed. We still design and make every garment ourselves. We still sit with each bride to understand what she wants. And we still believe that great bridal wear should be within reach of every family, not just those with the largest budgets.
What Sets Us Apart
Many bridal shops buy their stock from overseas suppliers and mark it up for resale. We do things differently. As a manufacturer, we control the entire process from sketch to stitch. That means we can offer true bespoke customisation, better quality control, and more honest pricing. When you visit our showroom, you are not browsing someone else’s catalogue. You are looking at our own work.
As an Asian bridal boutique in Manchester, we serve a community that expects quality, fairness, and respect. Our team speaks Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi, and English fluently. We understand the cultural significance of every garment we make, from the weight of a bridal dupatta to the colour traditions for each ceremony. This is not something we learned from a trend report. It is something we grew up with.
Our Commitment
Being the longest-running Asian bridal boutique in Manchester carries a responsibility. Families trust us with one of the most important purchases they will ever make. We take that seriously. Every consultation is free, every fitting is thorough, and every garment is inspected before it leaves our hands. We are proud of where we started, and we are focused on where we are going.
